Software for eBook readers is yet to be discovered topic. There are dozens of eBook reader device makers. Most of these companies designed and developed their own software packages or license this software from their hardware suppliers, which sometimes causing conflict of interest problems like recent hiccups with Netronix/PocketBook merger. There is a big diversity in the interfaces, frameworks and eBook formats between devices even if most of them are Linux based.

Lets see how this new space will evolve. We hope that our work will help to unify and standardize it through wide acceptance of our independent software packages and frameworks for eBook readers.
