New minor release v1.6.2.1 of our firmware for Sony eReader
What is new:
- Support for Chinese fonts – in order to enable chinese font you will need to download chinese.zip, extract chinese.ttf from the archive and copy the chinese.ttf file into “/fonts” folder of the eBook Applications firmware
- Proper use of “home” button on Sony eReader Pocket Edition – PRS-300
- Optimized power management, longer battery life
Known issue – 505 battery life problem is still there but we are close to resolving it.
